Roulette Rules

The European Wheel And Table

How Is House Advantage Counted?
This is very simple: In European Roulette we have a 1:37 chance if zero is coming, in American Roulette 2:38. The only thing we have to do is divide 100 by 37. The result is a house edge of 2.70%. The formula for American Roulette is as follows: 100/19 = 5,26%. The number 19 is there because there are two zeros in the slot within 38. So we need to divide 38 out of 2 which gives sating the number 19.
Some Rules Options
European Roulette has a specific rule in favor of the player. This is called the “in prison” rule which is used in all even bets. It is said that when the ball stops at zero, all bets on the 1: 1 payout (Odd, Even, Colors, High-Low) will follow the following rules:
1.In-prison (en prison) – means that all bets will be released and and available only after the next successful spin. For example, if you bet on a high number but the ball goes to zero, the house will not take your bet. That will remain and after the next spin, if the ball goes to the high number you will get your bet. If you lose the spin, the dealer will now take your chip.

The French Table
